THE GUY FROM THE OATS BOX IS A HIPPIE
Ever searching for answers in the depot of faith, I took an online quiz on what I believe (because, as we all know, quizzes give us ANSWERS so we don't hurt our brains). The categorization of which religions I paired up with - well, pretty surprising - besides Unitarian Universalists (which, who couldn't?), I got Liberal Quaker! What the? I have just recently heard from a pal that Quakers are a liberal community, but who knew? I matched up with it at some CRAZY high percentage, and only matched up with Catholicism just under Mormon (like, 30 percent?). Just goes to show you how much you may end up bucking the system after you graduate from a Catholic High School. I'm dying to know what you all are, so get ova' there and god-it-up, would ya?

Honey/Vinegar
So, after a semi-related post on another blog, I came to wonder if the old phrase is true or false : Do you really catch more flies with honey than vinegar? I think in my life, I have always that bucking the system and speaking up was really the way to go. Lor' knows, as a woman, you are usually taught to be overly polite and non-tempermental. Overtly stating opinion and speaking up has it's advantages - you cannot NOT be heard - some must hear you. But, do people listen?

I have always believed that, generally, voicing yourself is best. I think I have been disenchanted by the More Flies with Honey approach because it just conjures up an image of some southern belle with drawl as thick as molasses, planning on how to get her husband to buy her stuff, something along those lines. But now, I am trying to take a step back - which one really works best in moderation? I'm not talking bang-your-hands-on-the-glass-and-break-stuff outspoken-ness, and I'm not suggesting kittenish/coy behavior either. In moderation, which do you believe in?

(Please note the use of word : kittenish. Feel free to throw out a synonym that is as good, I dare you.)
