Sorry about the lack of posts - blogger wouldn't work for me for the past few. But, I have performance news:

A comedian I know asked me to be in a show this weekend for pay (stand-up)- so I jumped at it, of course... only to find that the audience is A BUNCH OF MOBSTERS! This is no joke! The benefit I'm at is for some guy who is facing corruption charges here in Chicago. So, my question to you people : To double up on the mafioso jokes, or to ditch them completely? My take? Well, I think usually people find themselves to be the funniest subject matter (when you present it to them in a delicate way).

If you are interested in catching other shows on Saturday, the Cleaning Ladies are at the P-ground at 8pm, and I am playing at Comedy Sportz at 10:30pm. Whee.

SNEAK ATTACK
For fear of being caught, I couldn't write about my Mother's D plans. Amy and I sprung our Mamas in Columbus, flying in Sunday and coming back today. I was glad to see that both our Moms were surprised and happy to have us. What did you / fam do for mother's day?
