A few things before I run (twitters with laughter)
1. Thanks, seriously, to those of you who donated - and also, to the poor well-wishers who have given me moral support. I appreciate it all. I leave for Kenosha tomorrow, 60 miles from where I will be on Sunday - back where I am now. Without getting too sappy, I feel like I really have made a journey, and it hasn't even begun. I am very excited to experience everything, the stories, the survivors, the camping - and yes, even the walking!, and to tell all of you about it if you'll have me.
2. I posted some pics of the Chihuly exhibit. Check it, it's 1,2...3 entries down from here.
3. I am glad to have you, new readers! Thanks for hanging with me.
4. The quiz starts Sunday night - it will be general interest, you'll see. 1st prize is two free ticks to my show on Friday, or one free tick to ComedySportz whenever you'd like... so, if you are interested, join the 29 others on in my yahoo group.
5. Much love to my peops.

Reddi for this Whip?
Talk about a slice of life here in the day of the comedian ... a bunch of my pals from ComedySportz got this weird corporate gig where they ride around in a van across the midwest, and they ask people What Their Favorite Moment with Reddi-Whip was. This is no joke. I mean, can't this only beg for dirty stories? I mean...
Too bad I couldn't go with (they only took guys, go fig) - but at least it's a good crew. Feel free to follow them on their journey after June 20th. I would've liked to meet THOSE characters...
Things to think about
Are you from around here? Chicagoland? Illinois? Indiana? Wisconsin? Just a lover of Comedy? Or hey, DO YOU LIKE FREE PRIZES?That's right - if you join my yahoo group, you'll get all kinds of info about where I'll be, and there will be a monthly drawing for free stuff (like tickets to shows, and t-shirts!) based on fun quizzes and stuff. Oh my god, GO! Why on earth wouldn't you? ;) The first quiz starts Thursday morning.
Secondly, the Avon Breast Cancer 3-day is upon me. I head to Kenosha, WI on Thursday for Day Zero, where I turn in all my loot - then, the next day I walk 17, 342 miles while carrying a piano strapped to my back (or, something along those lines). Please, if you care about the issue, feel free to Paypal me at TtotheD@yahoo.com. Like, five bucks makes a diff. You know?

CHIHULY! (Gesundheit!)
You guys ever heard of Chihuly, the glass blowin' guy? He's pretty amazing. Not only is his work SUPER cool, but he sports a curly unkempt mop and dons a tough eyepatch. Anyway, Amy and I went to Garfield Park Conservatory on Friday, and we saw lots of his stuff. Pics are on their way, as soon as my FTP works.
UPDATE
Here they are!
