Shameful self-lovin'
If only they knew I'm sitxy three...Yay! The online version is out and I can see my little 30 under 30 thang... and, I'm on the covs (down in the red shirt)! Man, if only they knew I just turned 63...

The write-up was nice. I think it's just a bio they got on me somewhere, but with some flair. Here's what that says: "Tara D., 25, is a stand-up, sketch and improvisational comedian here in the city. She performs with the Comedy Sportz team (traveling and home), with sketch troupe GayCo (as a performing understudy), the Cleaning Ladies, and has trained at I.O. and Second City. After struggling to find an agent that would represent an openly gay comic, Tara took matters into her own hands and booked her own work at college campuses and other venues for the '02 and '03 season. She has headlined at the Lesbian Arts Festival, Girlbar and several other Chicago venues..."

I feel really honored! It's cool to get press as a comedian. I also want to give ups to the other peops that got there... a nice list of people. How nice. Nice.

Surprise. It's Columbus.
That's the new slogan for Columbus, Ohio. Can you believe it? I mean, who's the jingle-mastermind that came up with THAT one? It's not even Surprise! It's Columbus!, there's just two periods. Isn't that horrible? I get what they are going for - like, Oh, Columbus - I didn't know it was like this! This is a big city with a lot to offer! Wow! No cows! I'm... SURPRISED! But, not so much.

A Serious Offer
Melissa Etheridge tickets, July 7th (Sat), Chicago show. Pavillion seating. I am not there for it. Who wants 'em? I'll give you a deal. Two ticks for $75, I'll send 'em to you. Leave a comment or write me, and they're yours! (Value: at LEAST a hundred and ten bones. Whatta deal!)
