So, on ABC7 here in Chicago, they just mentioned that they are hiring temp FBI agents. I'm kinda surprised that position exists...? Maybe I will look into it.

Amy had her first day today- well, kinda- Orientation. Congrats!

The Address to the Nation was just made a short time ago... looks like we may be going to war if the Taliban doesn't hand over bin Laden. Truly amazing. I am somewhat afraid of what is to come. I've got to hand it to Bush, he really did well tonight. And, that is from a card-carrying member of the opposite party. The only thing that bothered me was how he kept saying, "a war on terra". It sounded like he was coming for me.

Okay, now I am getting a little flipped out. I mean, it has only been a couple of days- but every job I come across that sounds okay asks me if I can work Saturdays, or has unbelievably BAD pay, or has good pay buy no benefits... AAUGH! I am worried with Amy going to law school Monday about HOW WE ARE GOING TO PAY THE RENT.

I'm sure everyone has heard that Jerry Falwell "has apologized" for his statement he made on Sunday. Funny, I don't feel like forgiving.

Hi all!
So Sorry not-so-bloggy, but I have been doing other things, like LOOKING FOR A FREAKIN' JOB! I'm not super worried, but I am not totally comfortable about it all. I am hoping to do some work from home-y type things for a week or two... my Mom is helping me buy a laptop, so that I can try to do some html and random stuff after Apt Zone ends. I may buy it tomorrow, a Compaq Presario Notebook 1700. Anyone have any better ideas?
